State Park Service
Really Likes the Versatility and Cost Savings
Robert
Mendez of Rancho Recreation Park, Simi Valley, California says,
“We
really like the Switch-N-Go system. I found this on the web. I was
surprised that one truck system could do so many things at such an
affordable price and submitted a requisition to the General Manager & Park
District Board.”
“We have a wonderful park system to
maintain. We have 38 vehicles, but limited storage space in the yard.
This system allows us to have only one truck to store and maintain yet
three quite different uses with the quick-change bodies. In addition, the
state of California has a tight budget, and the Switch-N-Go gives us a
chance to get more truck usage for less dollars. The need to be versatile
is very critical. We use the Switch-N-Go dump body, stake body,
and the chipper body. We gave our operators a short training
session on the proper way to use it and we have been very happy with the
results and the way the hoist and winch works. We also use a lot of
trailers, so we have a hitch on the bumper of the truck.”

“We are hoping to buy another Switch-N-Go
for a location 10 miles away when funds free up. We hope to share the
chipper body between the two locations further saving the state’s money.
This is a real way to increase the stretching of funds. We have
been very happy with the results.” (805-341-0929-Robert)
